JOAN LEACH M.B.E. It is with great sadness we announce the death on 30th September 2010, of Joan Marjorie Leach, Knutsford’s local Historian and co-founder of The Gaskell Society. Joan, of Tabley, passed away peacefully after a short illness aged 77 years, the beloved wife of the late Chris, loving mother of Martin and the late Jonathan, grandmother of Nathan, sister of Shirley, aunt of Julie & Frances and great aunt of James & Lauren. Service of Thanksgiving at Brook Street Unitarian Chapel on Wednesday 13th October at 2.00pm following Private Committal. Family flowers only please. Donations if wished for Macmillan Nurses.
