JOHN ANTHONY HUGHES passed peacefully on September 27, 2018 at Rowans Nursing Home, Macclesfield. He was 86, born on September 11, 1932, in Manchester England. He and his twin brother, attended Rossall Boarding School, Lancashire, where they shared a keen enthusiasm and talent for sports. In 1957 he married the love of his life Sylvia and together they had a beautiful daughter Jane. John and Sylvia were married for 61 years, until death do them part. John was a businessman for most of his working life. John was blessed with an identical twin brother Geoffrey, who he has now joined and they are once again `United'. John leaves behind his wife Sylvia, daughter Jane and Grandchildren Joshua and Charlotte Rooney. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. His funeral will take place Tuesday, October 23d at 11:30 am at Vale Royal Crematorium. Memorial donations may be made in Johns name to the Alzheimer's Society.
