Dr. CHRISTOPHER GLYN TREVOR HASLAM Glyn to his friends and family, died suddenly on Sunday 28th July 2013 in Leighton Hospital, Crewe, Cheshire after a short period of illness. Glyn was a retired radio astronomer whose enthusiasm for his many projects found him friends around the world. He will be sadly missed, Glyn was a beloved husband to Elaine and is survived by his sister Dr Diana Thurston and her family; children Nicola, Fiona and David; grandchildren Sam, Molly, Callum and Katrin. His funeral will take place at St Mary's Church Wistaston, Crewe, Cheshire on Saturday 17th August 2013 at 12 noon, with a celebration afterwards at the Woodside Public House, Valley Road, Crewe.
