JOHN PLATT OBE DL DC(hon) FRAgS Passed away peacefully on 28th February 2013. His passion for agriculture and education led to key roles in the Cheshire Agricultural Society, Reaseheath Agricultural College and many other Cheshire Organisations. John, aged 82 years, of Lach Dennis, beloved husband of the late Jean, devoted father of Joanna and husband David, Jonathan and wife Janette and Jeremy and wife Liz, grandfather and great grandfather. Flowers or donations if desired to All Saints Church, Lach Dennis, Churches Together in Cheshire, Agricultural Chaplaincy and St. Luke's (Cheshire) Hospice, Winsford. Funeral service to be held at Chester Cathedral on Tuesday 12th March 2013 at 11.00 am. followed by interment at All Saint's Church, Lach Dennis.
