COMEDIAN Jason Manford has sent a video message to Knutsford Guardian readers ahead of his show at Tatton Park Pop Up Festival.
The Manchester comic is bringing his Manford's Comedy Club to the open air and socially distanced summer event on Friday, July 9.
As usual, he will be joined on stage by people from the comedy circuit that he has handpicked himself - on this occasion Matt Reed, Daliso Chapanda, Kate Lucas and Simon Wozniak.
In the video, Jason described the festival as 'our time to get out and have a bit of fun' after the challenges of Covid restrictions.
Between now and the end of August, Tatton Park Pop Up Festival will play host to more than 50 socially distanced events over 10 weeks.
Each event will host 166 ‘squares’ accommodating up to six people each, complete with seating and set against the stunning scenery of Tatton Park lakeside.
Gastro-style food and premium brand drinks will be on sale and festival goers can also order luxury hampers to be delivered to their pitches.
Each event includes a number of VIP tickets, which will include premium outdoor furniture, table service and a private washroom, along with a private bar operated by the famous Menagerie restaurant and bar.
