Miss Laura Helen Chadwick & Mr Luke Francis Chaffer The marriage has taken place of Miss Laura Helen Chadwick, daughter of Mr & Mrs P G Chadwick formerly of Knutsford and now of Allostock and Mr Luke Francis Chaffer, son of Mr Mark Chaffer, of Prestbury and Mrs Gill Brierley of Macclesfield. The service was held at Chelford Church and was attended by many family and friends. The Bride wore a 50’s style ivory tea length gown decorated with lace and pearls which was complemented by the pearl headdress and ivory pearl edged veil. She carried a trailing bridal bouquet comprising of Peonies, purple Freesia, Lisianthus and Hydrangea heads, along with small ivory roses intertwined with eucalyptus and ivy. The Bride and Groom were attended by Miss Millie Whittaker (bride’s daughter) and Master Alfie Whittaker (bride’s son) along with Mrs Jo Mason and Miss Lucy Potter. Best Man was Mr John Brookes. The Ushers were Mr David Chadwick (bride’s brother) and Mr Luke Catton. The reception was held at the Bridge Hotel, Prestbury. The Bride and Groom honeymooned in Scotland and will make their home in Knutsford. The Bride is an Administrator at Rosebank School in Barnton and the Groom is a mechanic at Bob Farnon’s in Knutsford.
