ARK VETINARY SURGERY I had a beautiful cat aged 19 years who was obviously getting towards the end of his life but was not in any pain. In the past week he had stopped eating and drinking. As he was such a nervous cat I contacted the Ark Vetinary Surgery and arranged for a vet to call and put him to sleep.. Vet Liz Broadbelt and nurse Rachel gave the sleeping cat a sedative and I was able to hold him whilst they painlessly put him to sleep. He was not stressed and did not suffer which made it easy for me to cradle him.. Sylvia Sims.
